Weekly Prayers

Blessed are you, Beloved our God,
to you be glory and love for ever.
Inspirer of the universe,
ceaselessly involved in creating,
always calling new life into being,
you are present within and among us,
within and among all that is visible
and all that the eye cannot see,
So let wonder shine through our faces
and rejoicing leap in our hearts,
Giver of Life, Bearer of Pain, Maker of Love:
Blessed be God forever,
God brings love to life through our flesh:
Come, let us worship this day. Amen

Let us Pray
We pray for the leaders of the nations,
that you will guide them in the ways of mercy and truth,
we pray to you, O Lord.

For the needy,
that they may not be forgotten,
nor the hope of the poor be taken away,
we pray to you, O Lord.

For the sick in body, mind and spirit,
that they may know your power to heal.
We pray at this time for all who work in our medical professions.
For those in residential homes and who are full-time carers.
We pray for our scientists as they work for cures to our ills,
we pray to you, O Lord.

Let us commend the world, for which Christ suffered,
to the mercy and protection of God.

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory
are yours
now and forever. Amen

In our hearts and our homes
the love of God;
in our coming and going
the peace of God;
in our life and believing
the strength of God;
at our end and beginning
the welcome of God.
