Remembrance Sunday 2018 – Centenary of 100 years since the end of WWI
There was a great turn out on Remembrance Sunday for a very moving service in church taken by Revd Margaret Mattocks. A procession including over 50 members of the ATC walked down to Codsall war memorial where a service of remembrance was held.
Every one of the names on the memorial was read out and an individual small cross with their names on and regiment and the date they died was laid.

A Celebration of Codsall – As part of the Codsall Arts festival Codsall PPC invited many of the groups who work in Codsall to share a flavour of their activities in a display that was opened over a weekend during the festival. The Celebration was officially opened on Friday 9th by Rev’d Simon Witcombe with an address to an invited audience of those who had contributed by Gavin Williamson MP.
The Celebration was concluded on Sunday night with a Songs of Praise when a number of local people were invited to pass on their thoughts and memories of Codsall and chose their favourite songs. The event was held in aid of South Staffordshire Responders.
