A quiet day in a Quiet Garden
Blymhill Common, nr Shifnal
Shropshire, TF11 8JP
Thursday August 13th and Thursday October 22nd
A quiet garden and space for prayer, silence, reflection and the appreciation of the beauty of nature and the peace of God’s presence. Gatherwynd is a seventeenth century house on the border between Staffordshire and Shropshire, set in two acres of lawns, shrubberies and paddocks with views over the surrounding countryside.
Jesus said: “Come apart with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest”
We aim to offer a sacred space amidst the busyness of life for Christians to investigate contemplation and meditation. It is our prayer that as you spend time in this tranquil rural setting you can experience the peace and quietness of spending time with God.
These are all full days, but you are welcome to come for just the morning or afternoon if you wish. To enjoy the fullness of the day please arrive promptly.
